Paintball
Cambridge Game Zones
| Maginot Line |
A must have field at any Skirmish site. A heavily fortified command bunker at the back of the field over looks your two defensive lines, on the other side of the trench; the opposition have similar defences. Secure your defensive position, cross the trench over the bridges, or disappear in the tunnels and emerge on the opposition side. A firm favourite!!!!
| The Village |
Hand to hand fighting in our village that consists of varied buildings. Can you take the church, storm the two story fort, or will you end up in the pig pen.
| Speedball |
Fast and furious! A field constructed in sparse woodland with dozens of barricades made out of coloured debris netting, they can see you but not shoot you. |
| Hyper Tyre |
The smallest field at the Paintball Park and the closest to modern tournament paintball. Instinct is critical; you have no time to think on this field.
| No Mans Land |
Trench warfare at its worst. Leave your trenches; make your way to the barren land in the centre of the field, and using the trenches gain a foot hold in your opposition's terrain, before storming their slit trench. |
| Western Front |
Two large base camps, each some 50 feet square and set in a large piece of woodland. Ideal for that traditional capture the flag paintball game. |
| Armoured Assault |
Your armoured vehicle has come to rest at the side of a track, it can go no further. You are escorting a V.I.P. and the rest of the journey must be made on foot. Escort the VIP to his destination, if he's shot all is lost.
| Border Crossing |
Your patrol is defending a border crossing post, when word comes down the line that the next post has been over run. Send out a patrol to recapture. |
| Fuel Dump |
You have been assigned a fuel dump to protect. You have come under attack from an enemy force which has started to shell you. Send out a patrol to destroy their gun battery before it finds its range.
| Tower Siege |
The classic defend and attack game. One team defends the two storey fort, while the other team attacks it. The defending team then has to attack the fort and storm it in a shorter time than the first. |
| A Bridge Too Far |
The classic game of one bridge, two armies. You have been chasing the enemy for months, and they are holed up on their last defensive line, they have mined the last remaining bridge. It is your mission to capture the bridge whole, theirs to prevent you or blow it up.
| Ammo Boxes |
You are held up in a redoubt made of old ammo boxes filled with sand, the opposition have secretly constructed an observation post over looking you, destroy it!!
| Rock n' Roll |
The new paintball craze – a stone circle in dense woodland. 12 foot high stones set in an oval, at each end a pair of capped stones, and in the centre a five foot ball. Can you get it through the opposition's goal whilst under fire. |
| Other
Zones |
Skirmish paintball Cambridge's continual
re-investment program ensures regular updates to our playing zones,
with new features coming on stream all the time. The zones are laid
out in grid formation so that any two features can combine to make a
playing zone.
This enables
areas to be left fallow to allow undergrowth to rejuvenate, adding to
the realism of your day and ensuring the maximum of fun. Please note
this means a small number of features will not be in play at any one
time.
